THE ISSUE OF INCOME INEQUALITY IN SINGAPORE

Singapore has experienced high economic growth and development which has benefited the Singaporean society as a whole. However, whenever a country experiences economic growth as rapid as Singapore's, the benefits get dispersed unevenly favoring some more than others. This is a conflict on government objectives as they want economic growth but do not want the accompanying huge levels of income inequality.
